Born in Cadiz, Spain, Garrucho pursued art history at PUC, the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese, her extensive international experience—encompassing global travel and living abroad—has deepened her understanding of diverse cultural protocols and honed her exceptional interpersonal skills. These qualities have established her as a skilled negotiator and trusted art consultant.

With some 40 years of expertise in building significant private and corporate art collections, Garrucho opened her first gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut, as a gateway to serving a worldwide clientele.
